Sands of Time
The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Inspiration: The 101/1001 challenge was created by triplux and I found it via [info]aamandarin. Since I've reached a point where I'd like to make some changes to my life, I like the idea of having a list of goals to pursue steadily over the next 1001 days.
I'm starting on Monday (October 2, 2006) and I have until June 29, 2009 to complete all 101 tasks. I will, of course, be giving regular updates on my progress ;)

Which others?

Do you have either hiragana or katakana set up on your computer yet?

Wow. You're going to be busy.

At least, though, there's lots of great French literature to read. I was as recently reading...

But I have over 2.5 years to do it all... it's really not as much as it seems.

Hey, just one of those items, for example, becoming fluent in French, would take me 2.5 years.

This? Is an awesome list. I'm going to print it out and show it to Japhet and come up with our own list. ♥

The website has a list of a bunch of other lists too... it's where I got a lot of my ideas (as well as from aamandarin). (http://www.triplux.com/1001/otherlists.asp)

I saw her post an update to hers and was just... "Wow". And it's 2.75 years, so realistic.
